This video was the result of integrating Houdini and Naiad. Naiad’s grid based FLIP solver shows some real potential, even for simulating small scale liquids, especially with its speed. However, it is tricky to get data in and out of it. I have been using Houdini as the main way to export and import data created by Naiad. The final render with the fluid, glass, and caustics were created with Houdini’s physically based render engine, Mantra.
